“We understand that this is a long-term problem, so providing proper living conditions for people left homeless by the war has become a Rotary Club of Sydney Cove
The Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organizations is one of the main vectors of work. Today in Ukraine more than 8 million people have lost their homes and do not have a permanent place of residence. We try to create comfortable and safe living conditions for them, ”commented Oksana Tyupa.
The new shelters will primarily receive women and children from those areas of Ukraine where active hostilities are taking place. They will be placed in comfortable conditions, where there is everything you need, namely furniture, appliances for storage and cooking and more.
“Rotary Club Kyiv International is very grateful for the support. We are confident that the new shelters will help Ukrainian families survive the war in safe conditions. But we do not stop and continue to create new places for those who need help. That is why we call on business and society to unite for a collective solution to this problem, ”said Oksana Tyupa, official representative of the Rotary Club Kyiv International.
It will be recalled that today Ukraine is suffering from hostilities. As a result of constant bombing, one in six residents has lost their home and needs new shelter.
